On August 8th, Lahaina was devastated by wildfires. We lost so many of our homes and tragically too many lives. We are reeling from the reality that Lahaina has been changed forever.
For those families who have experienced unfathomable loss, you are forever in our thoughts and hearts, and our aloha is with you.
We sincerely thank Maui’s first responders and the numerous volunteers who have and continue to help us through these difficult times. Though we are unable to determine the actual damage Old Lahaina Luau has sustained, we know it is very little compared to the massive losses of others in our community.
Our future is uncertain at this time, and we know many of you have reached out with kind words and generous donations to our employees: Mahalo nui loa – we cannot thank you enough! If you have or had reservations to join us, we are so very sorry to disappoint you and we are here to assist you in refunds. Please email us at info@oldlahainaluau.com for assistance. Our teams are working from makeshift offices across Maui – our administrative offices at the historical Seaman’s Hospital on Front Street were lost to the fires – so our responses may be slower than we want, but we will be in touch.
Mahalo for your understanding and patience during these trying times.
Me ka ha’aha’a (with Humility)
